Hi, Ian, Sorry about your ilex - very frustrating! A few questions - where is it growing - container or in the ground? Is it in full sun? Is it safe to assume that it has had adequate moisture since planting? Based on what you have said about it being planted in Jan 2010, my first thought was something amiss about planting. Give it a gentle tug. Does it seem to shift at all? If it isn't properly firmed in the ground, or if there are large air pockets around the roots, this could explain it's decline. Another thought is cold. Not sure where you live, but there is some debate on how hardy this palnt is. It should definitely tolerate temps down to -15C. Any colder than that where you are? Kathy C
Hi, one of my plants - planted Jan 2010- has lost a lot of its leaves. It started with the leaves turning a sickly yellow but without any rust or other marks. Any ideas? Many thanks, Ian
